FUSION – Energy of the Stars is a groundbreaking collaboration that unites the intricate beauty of art with the profound depths of science. After two years of dedicated development, this project will debut at the Planetarium Jena with a live performance on July 19th at 8 PM, as part of the International Planetarium Society Conference.

Created by cc2 in close partnership with the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics,, FUSION transforms scientific data into captivating artistic expressions. This ambitious project weaves intricate soundscapes with mesmerizing visuals, projected onto the planetarium dome to deliver a truly immersive experience.

At the heart of this performance is sonic-generated visual art, crafted using custom-designed multi-channel audio inputs. The visual geometry is seamlessly synchronized with the spatial sound wave system developed by the IDMT Fraunhofer Institute Ilmenau, amplifying the multidimensional impact and offering an experience that bridges art and science in an unprecedented way.
